We have a need for a Body Shop Repair Technician to help us support our business.

Job Summary

Provides required Body Shop repairs along with fundamental fleet maintenance repair of Hogan tractor and truck equipment, including the removal, replacement and repair of any or all components of the tractor or truck.

Duties & Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses and repairs for all damaged equipment along with fundamental maintenance repairs to tractors and trucks using well-established policies and procedures to restore equipment back to original state.
  • Able to properly paint vehicles to company standards
  • Experience in Fiberglass repair to repair vehicles to company standards to include panel repairs, straightening and filling when required.
  • Able to perform safe and meaningful welding practices to include aluminum.
  • Decal installation and removal experience necessary.
  • Plastic repair
  • Identifies parts and/or systems for repair; repairs or replaces, as appropriate, such as radiator replacements, CAC and Condenser replacements as needed.
  • Removes broken parts and replaces with new or reconditioned parts.
  • Road tests vehicles to diagnose issues and ensure a safe operating vehicle.
  • Uses hydraulic jacks to raise equipment.
  • Inspect, repair and maintain general trailer structural and suspension systems.
  • Maintain accurate, updated maintenance records.
    Other duties as required.

    Skills Required:

  • 4 years of apprenticeship (Journeyman) or 4 years of experience in Truck/Trailer Body shop repair
  • CDL License, Class A or B (or obtain within a specified timeframe after employment)
  • EPA License (as appropriate)
  • High school education or GED
  • In-depth knowledge of all hand, air and power tools required for this industry
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of welding and Oxy/Acetylene cutting procedures
  • Clean MVR
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
