TheBusiness Analyst III will be responsible for performing tasks involved inproviding support and implementing business critical production environmentsutilizing best of breed Warehouse Management Systems along with interfacesystems exchanging high volume transactions between internal and externalapplications


This position will beresponsible for…..

  • Hands on configurationof Manhattan WMOS WMS systems.

  • Participate in allphases of implementation and production support of applications and componentsin multi-technology, business-critical systems.

  • Hands on configurationof Manhattan WMOS WMS systems.

  • Gather requirements anddesign the most accurate and efficient solution possible.

  • Analyzing andreengineering repetitive failed processes to drive out risk

  • Work closely withdevelopment team to ensure that all have an accurate understanding of thesolution to limit rework to the minimum.

  • Maintain understandingof interface specifications and configuration options.

  • Document requirementsand solutions according to the business SDLC process.

  • Work withImplementation and program management teams to transition new customer anddevelopment projects into normal day to day activities.

  • Establish and maintainstrong working relationships with co-workers, the business community, externalcustomers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

  • Stay up-to-date oncurrent and future warehouse execution technologies, capabilities and trends.

  • Follow change controlmethodology in day-to-day activities.

  • Work to establish,maintain, and update strategy (methodology, processes, standards, tools,services) used in implementing supply chain systems.

  • Travel for projects asrequired

  • Follow corporatevision, mission and values in daily activities. Follow the highest ethicalstandards in all activities undertaken. 

  • Provides for 24/7/365coverage as needed using on call rotation in support of operations under timeconstraints and pressure situations.

  • Provide training toteam members as needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in ComputerScience, Business, Engineering or related field preferred and 6-8 years ofrelevant experience.

  • In lieu of degree, highschool diploma or GED and at least 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Requires 5 years ofexperience supporting or implementing Manhattan WMOS WMS systems.

  • Must be able to displayability to logically work through problems to create solutions so businessoperations contractual service level agreements are maintained.

  • Ability to work well indistributed teams with effective communication skills to ensure their tasks andideas are effectively understood. This includes but is not limited toproactively providing status updates, identifying areas and opportunities forimprovement, and escalation of problems and issues to managers.

  • Good CommunicationSkills with high degree of verbal and written proficiency both technical andoperational and a professional attitude.

  • Knowledge of enterprisehardware platforms such as UNIX and/or Linux servers and Oracle relationaldatabases is a plus.

  • Outgoing, actionoriented self-starter who enjoys fast paced dynamic environments who works wellindividually and in a team.

  • Strong proficiency inOracle SQL for application development.

  • Customer service driven.

  • Strong team player.
