Provide administrative support to assigned group of faculty which includes: provider schedule coordination, answering phone calls, maintaining calendars, assisting with credential and licensing maintenance, and teleconference coordination. Assist in coordinating resident teaching activities, maintaining curriculum vitae for physicians, sort mail, track, submit and follow up with accounts payable on reimbursements.
Coordinate travel for business trips including flight, hotel and transportation, and other related support activities. Assist the Nurse Practitioner by preparing correspondences to patients and providers for Coleman Center for Women Eli Lilly employee clinic, including Primary Care Provider and Gynecologist letters detailing patient exam results. Sending patient pap results card, accessing Cerner for clinic schedule, and coordinating charge tickets with billing office.
Coordinate New Hire Orientation Schedules by arranging standard meetings with various faculty & staff within and outside the department, schedule all new staff for IUSM orientation session, and schedule required trainings. Assist with on-boarding activities and maintain a current list of required sessions and trainings for new employees (both faculty and staff) and ensure that new employees are registered and time is allocated on the department orientation itinerary. Support talent acquisition by partnering with the department HR Business Partner to manage and coordinate Faculty Recruitment visits for all candidates. Acting as the central point of contact for all faculty candidates as related to their site visits.
