The Development Scientist will work as part of a research team undergoing a fast-paced initiative to develop environmentally friendly reagents for nucleic acid preparation with applications in cutting edge fields such as Next Generation Sequencing and CRISPR gene editing. As part of the initiative, the scientist will be responsible for multiple products within the genomics product line.
Responsibilities include experimental design, planning, and execution, experimental result analysis and interpretation, maintaining a well-organized laboratory notebook, and quality system documentation preparation.
Successful candidates will work well in a team environment, contribute creative scientific ideas, and demonstrate good laboratory technique.

Position requirements include:
a B.S. in molecular biology or a related field with 1 or more years of laboratory experience.
