Responsible for the strategic development, administration, and evaluation of comprehensive diversity education training designed to increase cultural competency and equity-mindedness among all ranks of faculty. Provides campus-level training to faculty in academic units engaged in processes related to faculty hiring, promotion and tenure decision making, teaching, and mentorship. Monitors and tracks training participation and assesses effectiveness. Researches national trends and develops instructional materials to inform trainings, workshops, and special projects. Serves as subject matter expert and point of contact for faculty development in support of campus priorities related to diversity and inclusion. Trains and supports graduate student assistant. Reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Faculty Diversity and Inclusion and collaborates with colleagues from the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Office of Equal Opportunity as needed in support of faculty development initiatives. The Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer oversees and provides campus leadership for the academic enterprise at IUPUI.
