The Division of Infectious Diseases at Indiana University School of Medicine is committed to superb patient care, medican education, and research in infectious diseases. Our basic, clinical, translational. and implementation research in conjunction with our patient care and education programs promote the acquisition of knowledge concerning infectious diseases and lead to innovative strategies to improve the lives of people both locally and globally.

Job Summary

The Program Manager will provide overall leadership for managing the multiple facets of the PRIME Grant which is comprised of programs and partnerships throughout the State of Indiana. This position supports the project by coordinating processes, synthesizing documents, creating spreadsheets, and presentations. Serve as primary liaison for planning committees and all grant workgroups. Develops and analyzes data reports on grant activities, including participation and outcomes, to ensure project effectiveness. Audits and verifies all required grant project documentation. Operates independently as needed on all IT platforms used in the grant (e.g. Canvas, IU Box, IU Qualtrics). Analyzes dissemination methods for grant project efficiency and sustainability. Supervises the Project coordinator, Instructional Designer and other temporary roles within the grant structure.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and experience in grant management, project management, and supervision.

Combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Excellent communication skills. Exceptional assessment, time, task, and organizational management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team, while also being an independent thinker. Experience in supervising support staff and processes. Experience and proficiency in report writing as well as literature review. Experience with identifying and trouble-shooting operating processes and procedures. Experience in creating and implementing solutions proactively as well as reactively. Detail oriented with the ability to protect confidential information. Expertise in Microsoft Office software, Canvas, IU Qualtrics, Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree.

Working Conditions / Demands

Attendance and ability to travel between campuses occasionally. Ability to create educational materials. Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
