The Production Team Member will serve as member of the production team and support all manufacturing operations.

  • Temp to Perm Assignment: Assignment expected to last through March 2021
  • Hours: M-F, 6:00am - 4:30pm, while in peak, including some Saturdays
  • Start date: Immediately following pre-screening call, drug screen and background check
  • Candidate will be referred to our temporary agency to complete application process

Essential Job Functions

  • Assemble battery elements, modules, & sub-packs
  • Assemble various components into high voltage battery systems
  • Move material as needed
  • Inspect for part quality
  • Perform tasks using common hand tools, torque wrenches, and crimp tools, and electronics assembly tools
  • Process subassemblies and stage materials
  • Follow detailed instructions
  • Complete pre-production checklists (where applicable)
  • Complete and submit daily logs (where applicable)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Battery Manufacturing experience
  • Assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Consistent work practices
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control
  • Ability to be comfortable wearing safety glasses, gloves, hairnet, beard net (when applicable), smock, shoe covers, protective pants, and a respirator or mask (when applicable).
  • Ability to be comfortable with exposure to electric energy sources, specifically, batteries that hold an electrical charge
  • Ability to be flexibility of work schedule
  • Ability to be on time for work
  • Ability to have to good attention to detail
  • Ability to stand the entire shift
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Reliable transportation to/from work location
  • Strong communication skills - follow up on any issues including compliance, quality, safety, and any other item needed
  • Strong English language skills (reading, speaking, and listening)
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal skills
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Working Knowledge of good housekeeping and safety practices
