Job Summary

The Transfer Manager will create and aid in disseminating relevant communications, training materials, transfer policy updates, and reports through all communications portals accessed by the University Transfer Office (UTO) (website, issue brief, emails, meetings, annual report, quarterly report etc.). They will provide writing and technical support to UTO in communicating data on transfer activity. Knowledge of the IU policy, IU transfer philosophy, state mandates and agreements, external credits, numbering systems, accreditation and calendar systems will be used for evaluation and creation process and guidance documents. This position also sorts and complies IUIE and CBI reports for the Assistant Director for Transfer which will then be evaluated and interpreted for use in management of transfer articulation rules. Will fill in and be backup for Assistant Director for Transfer being able to maintain day-to-day activities when needed temporarily. Some clerical support will be required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years of administrative, project and development experience.

Combinations of education and related experience may be considered.

Experience working with diverse groups of people. Excellent organization skills and attention to details. Experience with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree.
