POSITION OVERVIEW

Company is seeking a VP, Product Management to be part of the Business leadership team based in Indianapolis, IN.. This position is responsible for setting, aligning and executing the strategic direction for our global solutions. You will work across our matrixed organization and partner with Operations, Product Development, Marketing, and Finance to achieve our targets.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Responsible for managing budgets, profit & loss, developing strategies for Customer Experience in a specific Cluster(s)
  • Develops, implements and maintains competitive product platform
  • Champions the vision and guides the product strategy and roadmap. Supports the development of short and long term strategic product roadmaps in support of market, sales and profitability objectives
  • Prioritizes products based on customer/market feedback, using a data-driven approach and securing stakeholder alignment along the way
  • Identifies technology and operational needs to support short and long term product strategy, coordinating with shared services partners as required
  • Develops business requirements and ROI. Adept at presenting and defending assumptions in front of executive teams
  • Leads/manages product development teams in the ideation of complex regional and companywide initiatives
  • Works closely with operations to ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery to the market
  • Develops metrics to help evaluate success of new product development process as well as post-implementation product success. Advocates for goal-oriented/KPI driven product management and build an approach for measuring outcomes for every release across the platform

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor 's degree in Business or related field preferred, or equal experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of senior product executive experience
  • Extensive knowledge managing the profitability of a global portfolio
  • Detailed industry knowledge (e.g. previous experience in high-security locks, CIT or Safe/ ATM industry)
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate competitive differentiation
  • Experience converting VOC to detailed requirement documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, SFDC
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
