Description

Essential Job Functions: Provides transportation clerical support for the Distribution Center. Serves as liaison between Transportation Center and Home Office Transportation Department in regards to inbound and outbound. Audits yard for inbound and outbound.

Major Areas of Responsibility

*Completion of all daily reports required to be submitted to the Home Office Transportation Department.
*Serves as liaison between Distribution Center management and the Home Office Transportation Department.
*Performs audits on all trailers in-yard to ensure check-reporting accuracy as well as trailer aging.
*Responsible for communication with carriers on any problems or concerns directly related to the Distribution Center in the event that the Home Office Transportation Department is unable to resolve the issue/concern.
*Coordinates the loading and delivery to new stores *Ensures timely submission of all bills and required paperwork to the Home Office Transportation Department.
*Assists Receiving and Shipping clerical staff with the completion of daily responsibilities. Collects, sorts and files incoming packing lists/manifests from vendors/carriers in preparation for the Lay-up Department. Performs all other duties assigned by management that assists in the operation of the DC.

Shifts:
One will be Fri - Mon / 7AM to 5:30PM. ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
