Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client located on the North side of Indianapolis in need of a Sales Executive.

Position Summary

We are seeking a professional and driven Outbound Sales Representative to join our growing company. This position will be responsible for increasing sales and market share in designated regions. The Outbound Sales Representative will identify new and call on existing leads to establish interest levels, obtain necessary data to complete CRM opportunity records, and lead them through our sales process. They will work closely with regional operations leadership to target key prospects and areas. We offer competitive base salary plus incentive opportunities.


  • Work the entire sales process from prospecting new leads to the activation of new accounts
  • Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline of self-generated sales leads, inbound leads, and referrals
  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales & revenue targets
  • Meet daily/weekly/monthly activity targets such as outbound calls, time spent on phone, number of account acquisitions, and close rates
  • Complete required SalesForce process and pipeline activity tracking with detail and accuracy
  • Communicate appropriate product and technical information to prospective customers and conduct appropriate follow-up steps
  • Identify sales trends, document prospect feedback, and contribute constructive feedback to our internal partners regarding marketing and products
  • Maintain and promote a positive and professional attitude while building collaborative relationships among potential and existing internal and external customers and colleagues
  • Continue training and education to keep pace with services, industry changes, and sales knowledge
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall sales and team results


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Excellent telephone skills including rapport building, strong active listening skills and ability to reach the appropriate contact
  • 2+ years of experience with tele sales or lead generation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Some cold-calling experience preferred, but not required
  • Proven ability to drive sales results
  • Very strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to interact with clients and co-workers
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
